Niger type of goat leathers

a long grained, very outstanding and unique character.

Art.- No. 340b is a natural tanned- / and re- tanned version based on Sumac tannins with a average thickness by 0,9 - 1,1mm and 5,5 - 7,5sqft yield in area.

We may select skins upon request in size, substance and grain- pattern most suitable for applications on upholstery as well.

Red Niger goat leather was sybolically used on some specific Danish chair.

This leather has been put through a special Aniline- colour drum dying process in the retanning. Irregulations in colour and structure are a desired effect and give this article its unique character.

It is possible that the colour may bleed onto other light fabrics. These effects are part of its appearance and do not implicate any quality decrease.

To ensure the lasting happiness with this specific Nigerian bookbinding leather article please avoid storage at bright light and follow our care instructions.
